"On Tour for the Four" Benefit Concert w/ 12/OC & Toby McAllister Nov 19
On Sunday, August 27, 2023, Tr. David Lemieux, Tr. Jake Mowry, Tr. Dakota Stewart and Trooper Recruit Shane St. Pierre had responded to a domestic disturbance in the area of Hollis Road (Rt 202) and Star Lane in the town of Hollis. As the Troopers were conducting interviews with the involved parties in the break down lane and driveway of the residence, they were struck by a vehicle that had been traveling eastbound on Hollis Road. All 4 Troopers suffered serious injuries and were transported to Maine Medical Center. They have all since undergone surgical procedures for their injuries and have long roads to recovery ahead of them before they will be able to return to duty.
Trooper David Lemieux has been with the Maine State Police since August 5, 2019. He has been a member of the K9 unit since 2022 with his Patrol K9 partner, Bear. Tr. Lemieux started his law enforcement career as an Officer at North Adams Police Department in Massachusetts for 6 years. Tr. Lemieux then spent 2 years as an Officer at the Po

Tr. Lemieux grew up in Williamstown, MA and now resides in Androscoggin County with his wife and their 3-year-old daughter.
Trooper Dakota Stewart has been with the Maine State Police since January 9, 2023. Tr. Stewart grew up in Central Maine and went on to graduate from Bucksport High School in 2008. Tr. Stewart attended the University of Maine in Orono and currently resides in York County along with his girlfriend.
Trooper Jake Mowry has been with the Maine State Police since February 17, 2023. Tr. Mowry spent the first 6 years of his law enforcement career as a Patrolman at the West Greenwich Police Department in Rhode Island. Tr. Mowry grew up in Warwick, RI. He and his wife currently reside in Oxford County.
Trooper Recruit Shane St. Pierre was hired by the Maine State Police in 2022 and completed the 42nd Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.
